Youth Ministries

When Jesus saw this, he was indignant.
He said unto them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth,
anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter
it." And
he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and
blessed them.
Mark 10: 14-16
RACING IS MY THING, BUT JESUS
IS MY KING!

Show me a Youth today that has been driven to a Burger King for Junk Food, or to
a Church for Jesus Food, and I'll show you that same young person that loves
automobiles and if exposed to auto racing will fall in love with auto racing.
Ask any young person that has grown up in the Southeastern United States,
who Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Sr. or Jr., Bill Elliott, Darrell Waltrip,
Dale Jarrett, Mark Martin, Bobby Labonte, David Coulthard, Michael Schumacher,
Joe Gibbs or even Roger Penske is and they can tell you. We use this common ground
to bring them to the Lord. (By the way 8 of the 12 names are professing Christians.)
Below are the Youth Programs that we do in Alpha order.

ADOPT A CREW MEMBER
At several select races a year we
bring young men of single parent homes, for a fun weekend:
** Of bonding with men.
** Learning the value of Teamwork - realizing you don't have to be the 'driver'
to be important.
** Exposure to Christian values as found in Christian men having fun.
** To assist in the Sunday Services.
** Something to look forward to.
** Something to recount at school and at home.
Kid's Paddock
What is it? Why do you do it? What does it cost?
The Kids' Paddock is for “kids” of any age that are capable of learning crafts,
playing games, watching a good clean “Kids” Movie. We will do it Saturday morning, Saturday
afternoon, and again Sunday if requested.
Why? Because we feel that this is something God wants us to do to serve you, it
will allow fathers to bring mothers and children to the track without worrying
about the children all day, so that mom can join in and help out with the
racing, knowing that the kids are safe. It will allow the “Family” to be together
at the rack. Mom (or Dad) can also volunteer to help out with the kid’s in the chapel and still have
breakfast, lunch and dinner with the family if that appeals to them more.
“KIDS RACING FOR LIFE”®
Who we are: Zoeller Ministries, Inc. DBA “Kids Racing For Life”® is a Florida Not-for-Profit
(C) Corp, that is a Federal 501 (C) 3 status Corp and has a State of Florida
(Consumer’s Certificate of Exemption) from sales tax. There are no
salaries paid from the “Kids Racing For Life” account either direct or
indirectly. It was founded in 1999 by Stephen Clarke Zoeller and
Stephanie Lynn Zoeller to give Cancer Children and their families
the opportunity to experience automobile road racing up close and
personal in a way few people ever get to and most people can only dream of.
We are a Christian ministry that does this for the love of God and Children,
there are no restrictions as to whom we assist, we take all faiths, or no faith,
all races, all sex, and all illnesses (as long as they are able to participate),
and all economic levels.

We
are going to continue our involvement with the
Candlelighters. This is the group
we started with in 1998 going to ball games, and we will always include them in
our efforts. However the program has expanded WAY beyond the Candlelighters and
SW Florida. We are now helping children all over the United States and have
expanded beyond just Children with Cancer.
They (the Candlelighters) are our first love and we will always do what we
can for them, we do things beyond the racetrack with the families, especially at
Thanksgiving and Christmas. Your donations also help to support this effort,
even if it doesn’t have the visual exposure of our “on track program”; it is the
only way some of the families can give a Christmas gift to their children. The
only requirement is that they realize the “Reason for the Season” and it is the birth of Jesus Christ that we are celebrating.
RIGHT OF PASSAGE
For young men 13 to 25, we will help
families, friends, churches, clubs set a celebration for a young man called
right of passage that will be a day in his life that he can look forward and
back on that will mark the day that his elders proclaimed that he needed to put
away the things of a child and take up the values of a man.
This was done in the Old Testament times and by the American Indians as well as
many other parts of the world. But sadly it is not being done much in
America, with tragic results in the development of boys to men. Boys are now
looking for conquest in sports, jobs, sex, drugs, or gangs to make them feel
like a man. We will explain more if you click on the link above called Right of
Passage.
